You don’t need another diet to feel good in your body

My difference as a dietitian? A focus on mindset and your relationship with food.
Many many women believe losing weight is the answer to feeling good in their bodies. I used to believe that too.
I counted calories, skipped meals, and ate “clean”—convinced that if I just ate less, I’d finally like my body. I ate what I thought I “should”, not what I wanted to eat. Because that’s what being healthy looks like, right? Wrong.
The truth was, my body wasn’t the problem. I was disconnected from my hunger, from my needs, from myself. Everything changed when I started focusing on my relationship with food and grounded my choices in my intuition alongside realistic, science-backed nutrition (without being obsessed).
So if you’re looking for a dietitian who sees the whole picture, blends mindset with nutrition science, and won’t just hand you a meal plan and send you on your way… You’re in the right place.
Values that guide my work are:
connection
CONNECTION COMES FIRST
freedom
FOOD = FREEDOM, NOT FEAR
realness
KEEPING IT REAL, ALWAYS
family
THIS WORK IS BIGGER THAN US
joy
JOY BELONGS AT THE TABLE
My superpower is working in a way that feels real, not clinical.
How’d I get here, you ask?
Truth is… I never set out to run a private practice.
Working in public health for over a decade, I saw how broken the system was. Reactive instead of preventative. Unless someone met a clinical diagnosis, they couldn’t access support at all.
There was no space for a preventative, proactive approach. No room to help women better understand their bodies and feel better in them, before things got worse. Women would come in carrying a lifetime of food, guilt, and body shame… and we wouldn’t be able to address it.
In an overwhelmed, weight-centric system, there wasn’t time and space to talk about our relationship with food and the deeper issues that were going on.
This didn’t feel right. And definitely didn’t feel like it was enough.
There had to be a better way. One that didn’t stop at giving nutrition advice, but prioritised women’s lived experiences. One grounded in science, yes, but also in empathy and mindset. Creating a space where women felt safe, heard, and supported enough to do the deep work and change the relationship with food was my absolute dream…
… that’s how The Food Relationship Coach began.
And I bloody love what I’ve created!

What makes us different?
You may have worked with a dietitian before… but I serve things up a little differently.
Real
What you see is what you get, bringing the kind of honesty that makes you exhale.
Mindset-first
We focus on deep work–changing your relationship with food.
Lived experience
The work we do isn’t just based on theory, I’ve also lived it, so I get it.
For many of us, food isn’t just food… and that’s exactly why I focus on your mindset, not just nutrition.
Finally feel like you’ve found a place where you don’t have to be the right fit?
Let’s work together. All bodies are welcome!
